Not all baby animals left alone are abandoned. Squirrels will actually adopt abandoned baby squirrels if they notice a relative has not come back for them. Nature has a way of taking care of the young, so you shouldn’t attempt to bring them in your home and raise them yourselves. Remember, wild animals belong in the wilderness.
